From a young age, Steven’s musical journey was shaped by a deep-rooted passion for music and a love for storytelling through sound. Inspired by his father, who taught him guitar at the age of 4, Steven began composing his own music a few years later, honing his craft and developing a unique voice as a composer.
After earning a degree at Berklee College of Music, Steven embarked on an impressive career that has seen him work across multiple platforms, including TV, commercials, and video games. His career took a pivotal turn when he joined Hans Zimmer's Bleeding Fingers as a composer from 2014 to 2016, where he worked on some of the most iconic projects in the industry.
Since transitioning to a freelance composer in 2016, Steven has created music for a diverse array of high-profile projects. He has written theme songs for popular TV shows such as Beyblade (anime series), NBC’s Making It (hosted by Amy Poehler and Nick Offerman), ABC’s Claim to Fame (starring the Jonas Brothers), AMC’s Citizen Detective, and A&E’s Ozark Law.
In addition to TV, Steven has composed memorable music for some of the biggest brands, including Amazon, UPS, Petco, High Noon, Hims, Honda, TurboTax, and Xfinity. His music is also featured in the Super Bowl 2025’s Pizza Hut commercial.
One of Steven’s recent standout achievements was co-writing and producing The Song of Nunu, a track featuring Tori Kelly for the hugely popular video game League of Legends in 2024. This collaboration brought his music to an even wider audience and earned widespread praise from both fans and critics alike.
With nearly a decade of experience, hundreds of projects, and a vast array of successful collaborations under his belt, Steven continues to compose music that resonates with audiences, elevates stories, and enhances the visual experiences across all mediums.
